YHA Manchester is an example of how a good hostel doesn't have to cost a lot. Large, bright and airy room for four people. The beds were solid, the only thing missing was curtains on the bunk beds for more privacy, but that's a minor detail. The bathroom was a good size, clean and looked new. The common areas are large and beautiful. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The location near a train and tram station is great for a city the size of Manchester. The hostel has a view of part of the river canal, and having breakfast with this view was a bonus. I would definitely stay at this hostel again

Such a cool place to stay and unlike many hostels I’ve stayed at. They’re really hip and the decor is great! You can also buy unlimited breakfast for quite reasonable price! Only thing is if they could add full length mirrors in the girls dorms that’d be great.
Response from the owner 9 months ago Thankyou for your great review, we are so pleased you enjoyed your stay with us, the breakfast is fab I agree real value for money our unlimited breakfast buffet. Thanks for the feedback re mirrors also, hope to see you again soon. :)

Hello, I recently stayed in one of your rooms and wanted to share some feedback. Overall, the room was great — one of the best I’ve stayed in. The location is fantastic, everything looks incredible, and the shower was perfect with a really comfortable temperature. There was just one small issue: the bed with the plug socket wasn’t ideal for charging devices. My phone kept slipping off because of where the socket is positioned, so it wasn’t the easiest place to keep things secure while charging. Also what didn’t help breakfast finishes at 09:00PM but every thing was great. Thanks again for the great stay.
Response from the owner 6 months ago Hello Ollie, Thank you so much for taking time to write a review. All feedbacks are really important for us to improve ourselves for a better accommodation experience. When we see 5/5 for all departments that really makes us so happy cause then we know you had a great stay! We will definitely take your feedback regarding the sockets into account and will do our best to improve the situation. Our breakfast hours are available until 9 am on weekdays and until 11 am on weekends. After breakfast, you can also take advantage of our suitable brunch options from the menu. Thanks again for highlighting how great was our room, location, shower in your experience. We hope to welcome you again in the future!!

It was another great YHA hotel. Everything clean and tidy, not a lot of beds in a room. A very good reception area. They took care of my suitcase before and after for free so I could enjoy Manchester. Also the location is quite pretty. They have a lift too!
